TEM, WEM, MDM Association: TEMIA Elects New Board: Executive Board Looks to New Challenges
The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) http://www.temia.org, the authoritative voice for Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Wireless Expense Management (WEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM) and solutions providers in related areas conducted its annual elections on May 23, in Washington DC. Executive Board members provide leadership, oversee policy and set direction. Each year, there are rolling elections for a portion of the board serving a two-year term. Voting at TEMIA's annual dinner and proxies, for those that could not be present, selected TEMIA's Executive Board is critical to driving greater levels of success for this organization, and the entire TEM, WEM and MDM industry. In addition, the executive board works to support the organization's mission: "I am honored to follow Dave Spofford and Larry Foster as the new Board President of TEMIA. We are grateful for Dave and Larry's efforts in getting the association to where it is today. I will strive to match their contributions as TEMIA embarks on its next phase. I look forward to working with the board, our executive director Joe Basili, members, and other market participants, as the board works to expand the benefits, effectiveness of existing programs and reach of TEMIA." Shahram Sharif, Executive VP of Anatole, stated, "It has been a pleasure and privilege to drive the international agenda of TEMIA as part of the executive board. Lisa Johnson, from IBM stated, "Empowering enterprises with valuable information regarding Telecom Expense Management enables maturity within the industry world wide. Joining TEMIA lines up with IBM's global strategy and objectives with Telecom Expense Management services." John Perri, founder and CEO of Comview said, "I'm excited to have been re-elected to TEMIA's Executive Board and I plan on continuing the next two years to help grow TEMIA and the Telecom Expense Management industry. Joe Chopek stated, "our firm Avalon Global Solutions http://www.avalonglobalsolutions.com "AGS" is now in its third year as a TEMIA member, and I am proud to be elected and serve a second term as a TEMIA executive board member. AGS has benefitted greatly TEMIA membership with new business opportunities, valuable learning experiences, sharing ideas and business practices among TEMIA members. We are using the TEMIA Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to better define and set performance metrics with clients. We are active on several committees and look forward to working on a new committee, which will monitor industry mergers and acquisitions and also keep a data base of investment companies and banks who are interested in funding TEM and Technology management companies.
