Joe Basili
Joe brings over 20 years of industry knowledge to his role managing ETMA. ETMA is a non-profit industry trade association. His areas of focus for ETMA include program management, recruiting new members, and advocacy of the association’s positions with the media and carriers. He is a recognized thought leader who has conducted research and developed benchmarks writing extensively on topics that include telecom/technology expense management (TEM), managed mobility services, MMS, mobile device management, MDM, Managed Mobility Services and network performance management. Joe is a keynote speaker at conferences and contributor to publications and blogs for IT, finance and procurement professionals. His work with ETMA’s LinkedIn client forum, social media, Tweets and other activities promote industry standards, market knowledge and best practices. His recent work includes business case analysis, research, analysis of Business Process Outsourcing, hosted and licensed software for TEM, invoice management, billing and e-media and payment automation. Joe holds a B.A. with a double major in Economics and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. He is a runner, swimmer, technology enthusiast, and music fanatic with over 10,000 songs on his iPhone.

Chad also sits on the leadership committee of TRG. Previously he held positions with Vox Mobile and was responsible for global services and strategic partnerships with Google and Apple. He Vice President of Operations for GEMA International, a multi-national provider of enterprise managed mobility services. He was responsible for GEMA's operational and system readiness, regional service delivery recruitment, and client service delivery. Regions of career experience include China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. He has over 20 years of experience in the global wireless industry including living in both Europe and the United States. Having been a member of the ETMA Ethics Committee, I am thrilled to be expanding my role within ETMA’s leadership. In my past leadership role at Ezwim, as a wholesale provider to TEM/WEM/MMS firms, and currently at AMI Strategies, I bring a unique perspective to ETMA. I am amazed how, even in an industry as competitive as ours; members can come together and collectively raise the standards of quality in our solutions and our relationships with each other. I have worked in the technology space since 2000, more than half of that time in TEM specifically. Since 2012, I have been assisting ETMA members expand their service capabilities both domestically and internationally. I have developed mutually beneficial relationships with several members of the organization. This has given me the opportunity to understand their business models, goals, and helped drive many members into new revenue streams. If you are in the space but not participating in ETMA, you are certainly missing out.

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Board Member at ETMA Enterprise Technology Management Association! This is my second run with ETMA and I am truly looking forward to representing Motus and our industry. One of my goals, in joining the ETMA board, is to drive innovation and connectivity within the industry with other tangential industries. There are many opportunities right now that will not only benefit today’s members, but also members that join in the future. We need to act now to seize those opportunities.
