Unfortunately, this often means that your rates will revert to non-discounted levels, in which case costs will increase dramatically. Depending on the carrier and situation, however, it is sometimes possible negotiate an extension. At the very least, you loose your flexibility in negotiations and your ability to transition to a different carrier is lost.
